You are probably thinking, “what am I going to do during February half term with the kids?”

Well, you are in the right place, as I have a few ideas that will make your half term an unforgettable experience!

Of course, I completely understand that we are still in a national lockdown. But, I believe I can offer an experience that will keep the kids fully engaged and entertained long after it’s finished.

Over the past 8 months, I have been performing online shows for the public, private events and even large corporate events too.

And I believe it’s the best idea for your February half term!

We had a fantastic night on Saturday and have had wonderful feedback from everyone else that joined too! Thank you so much for making the night so special for Gibson, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen him that animated! I can safely say it’s one of the best online experiences we’ve had!

Ricky is fantastic at engaging all of his audience and making everyone feel special. Ricky performed virtually for my daughter’s lockdown birthday zoom. It was great, almost better than face to face, in some ways. The magic was clever and delivered superbly. I really recommend Ricky for any occasion - in person or online. Magic Lessons

Learning magic tricks can help develop confidence, creativity and even social building skills. As a professional magician, magic has helped me out enormously in my life and I want to now share my skills with you. I'm currently working on creating a curriculum and structure for providing magic lessons for children and adults over the next couple of weeks. These can be for group sessions or even individual 1:1 sessions. Students will be welcomed to a performance of 3 magic tricks and then a demonstration and lesson on performing those tricks at home. The lessons will be for ages 8+ and more information will be available soon.

Surprise show/celebration

Did you know that my online show can be arranged as a surprise? In fact, over the Christmas holiday, many clients booked the show as a surprise for a lockdown celebration or family gathering. It’s the perfect alternative to those weekly family quizzes and Netflix marathons.

Here's how it works. On booking, you will receive a private password-protected that can be shared with the participants of the show. On the day of the show, everybody joins the link and they are welcomed into a waiting room. Upon entry, they will notice a “Mystery Guest,” profile with a question mark cover as the profile image. It raises great tension, fun and suspicion of what the mystery is all about. Upon an organised cue, I am introduced as the mystery guest / special guest and I then welcome everybody to an amazing show. The surprise show is a fantastic way to make your half term activity a really magical experience.

Audience participation

The most important thing to me is to make sure that all my guests in the audience are comfortable, relaxed and having an amazing online magic show. My performance is not derogatory or rude and doesn’t contain any foul language. It’s really important to me not to make anyone feel uncomfortable by putting them on the spot. Although my shows are fully interactive with most participants taking part in a piece of magic with me, if anyone feels nervous or anxious about being on camera or taking part with me, it’s no problem at all, just let me know when booking the show.

We booked Ricky as a “pick me up” during the post Christmas lull. He provided a fantastic, entertaining show leaving us all saying “how did he do that??”. The Zoom format worked very well and Ricky involved everyone who wanted to be involved in the tricks. A great evening!

Can the show be tailored to a special occasion?

Of course, one of the things that I love doing is tailoring the show to any special occasion. Whether you have an upcoming celebration, a special family gathering or even if you want to book the show as a little treat for your little ones hard work at school for their half-term break, the show can still be tailored to your needs to make the show a bespoke and unforgettable experience.

How to book?

You can click HERE or visit my Online magic show page where you can get in touch and book your show in the diary. After payment for the show, you'll receive a private password-protected link that can be shared with your family. And then, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show!
